What opportunity can this challenge bring me?
I've got something to confess. I'm obsessed with coats. It's the first thing I look for when shopping. It's what fills my closet the most. It's what I love to mix up with the rest of the outfit. Why am I even sharing this?
I moved to a new and tiny apartment: Where will I fit all my coats? That was the question and a true challenge to my coat-obsessed-mind. Less stuff to pack, simpler way of living, less to hang, less time to think about what to wear. Enough reasons. I'm ready to move on.
What opportunity can this challenge bring?
It's a question we forget to answer. But the sequence of thoughts triggered by this question can turn into valuable insights. Insights that lead to action and change.
The mind will then be forced to rethink what initially thought as negative and take something positive out of a situation: being fired; failing; a long-distance relationship; a global pandemic; or simply, a missed train.
The problem won't be the situation in itself. But the reaction to it.
