Tony Robbins is an incredible human being, alongside being a great investor, entrepreneur, coach, etc. His morning priming routine consists of five things that can be done at any place and might make you switch your mindset from scarcity to abundance! Tony is usually described as a very powerful person, not in terms of money or position, but as a combination of hard work and passion!

Tony Robbins had a big impact on my own life, especially after going through his Personal Power Program while still in High School. He asks the right questions that make you start questioning your own life. Questioning the things that aren’t going well and the areas of your life where you’re struggling. Besides that, he makes you come up with a plan to change those things!

1# Cold-water plunge

The first thing Tony Robbins does after waking up is plugging into a very cold pool of water! Alongside with helping you to feel awaken instantly, cold temperatures also make you less stressed, fill you more willpower battery,  increase emotional resilience, and many other benefits that can improve the quality of your life!

You can substitute the plunge for a cold shower. I remember that the first time I tried a cold shower, I screamed. So, I believe that’s the worst thing it can happen if you do it!

I have done this myself a lot of times, and I can guarantee it changes your mental state radically! And if you survive cold temperatures, you can survive anything that is thrown at you during the day! Why don’t you try it for yourself? It will take only two minutes!

Wim Hof is also the master of cold temperatures as he owns world records for exposing himself to extreme temperatures. I’ve tried his method for 1 month (I did not finish it) and it was a very interesting experience. His method consists of Breathing, Cold Exposure, and Commitment!

2# Breathing!

Tony Robbins does some breathing exercises (3 sets of 30 reps) alongside with some arm movements. But as an alternative, he recommends the “breath walking” meditation.

Start by walking while inhaling 4 short times through the nose, and then exhale 4 short times through the mouth. Repeat the cycle for one to two minutes.

Again, this activity only takes you 2 minutes! And it will make you aware of everything around you and also more relaxed!

3# Gratitude

For 3 minutes, Tony Robbins let’s gratitude fill his soul! We have so many great things but still, we forget to appreciate them, and we’re always looking for that next great thing.

Practicing gratitude makes you focus on those small things you have in your own life, but took for granted. You can be grateful for anything you see around you! There’s no better feeling than feeling a sense of gratitude for your family, friends, house, food, the sun or even those terrible events that made the incredible person you are now!

Tony Robbins dedicates 3 minutes to appreciate all the beautiful things in the world. Even the wind on your face is something to feel grateful for.

But Tony doesn’t only think about 3 things that he is grateful for. He also lets gratitude fill his soul. I do this myself every single morning, where I write in my journal 3 things I’m grateful for.

You can also answer these 4 questions, recommended by Tony Robbins, that will make you feel grateful, excited and energized for the day ahead!

  1. What are you most excited about?
  2. What do you feel grateful for?
  3. Who loves you? Who do you love?
  4. What are you committed to?


4# God’s presence

After being grateful, Tony focus his attention in the presence of God.

But you “want to language that for yourself”. The key is to feel the “inner presence coming in, and feeling it heal everything in my body, in my mind, my emotions, my relationships, my finances.”

This is a way of feeling strength, passion, and conviction!


5# 3 goals

The last 3 minutes Tony Robbins focuses on the 3 things he wants to achieve and make happen during the day! He visualizes himself achieving those goals to make him more motivated and committed to accomplish anything he sets his mind to.
